1. Definitions

• "Company," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Saga Publishers
• "Client," "you," or "your" refers to the individual or business engaging our services
• "Services" refers to editing, proofreading, book cover design, formatting, publishing, and distribution services offered by Saga Publishers
• "Manuscript" or "Content" refers to any written material, cover art, or related files submitted by the Client
• "Deliverables" refers to the final edited files, designs, or published materials provided to the Client

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to enter into an agreement with Saga Publishers. By using our services, you confirm that you have the legal authority to submit the Manuscript and to agree to these Terms on your own behalf or on behalf of the business you represent.

3. Our Services

Saga Publishers provides professional book editing, proofreading, book cover design, formatting, and full-service publishing, including paperback, hardcover, eBook, and global distribution support. The exact scope, timeline, and deliverables for your project will be confirmed in your individual service agreement or project quote before work begins.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate contact, billing, and project information
• Submit your Manuscript in a complete and reasonably organized format
• Respond to requests for feedback, approvals, or revisions within a reasonable timeframe
• Confirm that your Manuscript does not infringe on the copyright, trademark, or other rights of any third party
• Notify us promptly of any changes to your project scope or goals

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

You retain 100% ownership of your Manuscript, your copyright, and all intellectual property rights in your work at all times. Saga Publishers never claims ownership of your Content. Once your project is complete and paid in full, all final Deliverables, including edited manuscripts, cover designs, and formatted files, belong to you. Saga Publishers retains ownership of any internal tools, templates, or preliminary concepts not selected or included in your final Deliverables.

6. Payments, Pricing, and Refunds

Pricing for each project is confirmed in your quote or service agreement before work begins. Depending on the project, payment may be required upfront, in milestone installments, or upon completion.

• A deposit may be required to reserve your project and begin work
• Remaining balances are due according to the schedule outlined in your agreement
• Late payments may result in a pause in project work until the balance is resolved
• Refund eligibility depends on the stage of work completed at the time of a cancellation request and will be outlined in your individual agreement

7. Revisions and Project Scope

Each service package includes a set number of revision rounds, as specified in your project agreement. Requests that fall outside the original project scope, such as additional chapters, a different genre of editing, or a completely new cover concept after final approval, may be treated as a new project and quoted separately.

8. Turnaround Time and Delivery

Estimated timelines are provided at the start of your project based on manuscript length, service type, and current workload. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and may shift due to delayed client feedback, incomplete materials, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

9. Publishing and Distribution

When we assist with publishing and distribution, your book may be listed through third-party platforms and retailers, such as Amazon, IngramSpark, or Barnes & Noble. Your use of these platforms is also subject to their own terms, policies, and royalty structures, which are outside of our direct control. Any royalties earned from book sales belong to you as the author, in accordance with the terms of the retailer or distributor involved.

10. Prohibited Content

We reserve the right to decline, pause, or terminate a project involving Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, plagiarized, or that infringes on the rights of a third party. We are not obligated to provide a refund for work already completed on Content later found to violate this section.

11. Cancellation and Termination

You may request to cancel your project at any time by contacting our team. Any fees for work already completed up to the point of cancellation remain due. Saga Publishers may also pause or terminate a project in cases of non-payment, prohibited Content, or a serious breach of these Terms, with notice provided where reasonably possible.

12. Limitation of Liability

Saga Publishers provides professional editing, design, and publishing services, but we do not guarantee specific sales figures, reviews, rankings, or commercial outcomes for your book. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we are committed to delivering high-quality, professional work, we make no warranty that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or guaranteed to meet every subjective expectation of style or taste.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Saga Publishers harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Confidentiality

We treat your Manuscript and project details as confidential and will not share them outside our internal team and necessary service providers without your permission, except where required by law. 16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiations between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws and courts of the State of Wyoming.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
