THE SEMINAR WAS A SUCCESS!
We are delighted to be able to say that the seminar was a great success. With more than a 100 attendees from 5 states and 5 countries, we have accomplished
what we set out to do. Over the next few days, we will upload pictures, videos and lectures from the various presenters. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, our
team, and of course our presenters and guests for making this such a great event! We also want to extend a special thanks to Steve Haas and Norwood Crossing for
doing such an amazing job catering and preparing for our reception. Also to Gary T. Johnson, president of the Chicago History Museum for opening the seminar.
I would think even those who are from Chicago will have learned so much about our city, and from those coming in from other cities and countries, why Chicago is
so important to Scandinavian immigration to the US. So stay tuned for more updates, and hope to see you all next time!

The more we learn about the Vikings, the clearer it becomes that this was a civilization just as advanced as it’s European counterparts.
